I've been to Davis three times with two different vehicles now and they have been fantastic every time. Randy is excellent at communicating exactly what is going on and how the repairs are proceeding with a level of transparency previous auto shops have not offered. My first experience with Davis Automotive was when my Honda Civic's A/C stopped blowing cold air at the beginning of the summer. The first shop I took it to quoted me $1200+ for a full A/C system replacement with no discussion and absolutely no willingness to try replacing parts first before going for a whole system replacement. I decided to try Davis after finding them online and after a few hours in the shop, Randy called me up and told me exactly what they had found (bad compressor) and said they would try just replacing the compressor first, saving me over $400! The system is running great 3 months later. My next two visits were just as good as my first one and I'll keep coming back. I highly recommend Davis Automotive to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thorough shop with great service!

Given in prior email. re my prior comments about Covid--my fault for not carefully reading the safety features and taking advantages of them. They were certainly there, and I did see them when I made the appointment.

I've experienced trustworthy service and good advice for years, first with McCain's and now with Davis. I do wish that I'd read the web notice about Covid safety features Davis Automobile makes available, and that I had taken advantage of them. But I didn't and went inside where no masks were worn. It was my mistake, but I'm still nervous about my visit since I'm old and my health is bad.
